Ramadan 2026
As-Salaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah!
We are delighted that this year, The Muslim World League will be sponsoring our campus community Iftar dinners, for both Cambridge and Longwood.
This year the communal Iftar dinners will be held in the SOCH in Cambridge on Mondays – Fridays for the first three weeks of Ramadan. There will not be any communal Iftar dinners during the final week of Ramadan, which falls during Spring Break week on campus.
Our community iftar dinners will begin this Thursday night February 19th in the SOCH. RSVP and Harvard ID is of course required.
In Longwood, the Muslim World League will be hosting the Iftar dinners in Sebastian Café on Mondays thru Wednesdays throughout Ramadan (including during the Spring Break week that is observed in Cambridge). On Thursdays and Fridays, our host invites members of the Longwood community to join us in Cambridge for the Iftar dinners.
For information regarding Iftar dinner options during the weekends and spring break week, if you are an undergraduate student, please contact the Harvard Islamic Society (HIS), and if you are a graduate student, then please contact HGIS.
As usual, attendees will be required to have a Harvard ID and to RSVP to attend the weekday Iftar dinners. The link to the RSVP form is also below.
